Our Story

Barbara Fair, "Mother of the Movement" with Stop Solitary CT, celebrating with a raffle winner at the Blossoming Beyond Bars conference

Blossoming Beyond Bars began with a shared vision between three organizations — Winning Ways Inc., JGH Justice Alliance, and Quality Counseling — and one simple belief: a woman's past does not decide her future. Together, we create a safe, uplifting space for women who have been impacted by incarceration to heal, connect, and grow.

Heading into its fifth year, Blossoming Beyond Bars brings together survivors, advocates, and community partners for a day of wellness, financial empowerment, creative expression, and real conversation. Each partner brings its own strength, and together we help every woman take her next step forward.
